About Chris
The prolific singer-song writer Van Morrison has, for the better part of forty years, been an inspiration to me. Born in 1945, Van heard his Shipyard worker father’s collection of blues, country and gospel early in life. Feeding off musical greats such as Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Muddy Waters, Mahalia Jackson and Leadbelly. He was travelling musician at the ripe old age 13.
Maybe I connect with Van because of our Irish roots. Perhaps it is my admiration for his ability to reinvent himself from one album to the next. His songs resonate with listeners today as much as they did when they were written decades ago.

Bucky Fuller’s most well know artifact is the geodesic dome like this one in Vancouver. He holds 28 patents, authored 28 books, and has received 47 honorary degrees.
Buckminster Fuller, a 20th century inventor and visionary, worked as a ‘comprehensive anticipatory design scientist’ to solve global problems. I know that phrase alone is a lot to digest. Among his creations he may be best known for creating the Geodesic Dome. I often think of this quote when he was asked to describe himself.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT I AM. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT A CATEGORY. I AM NOT A THING — A NOUN. I SEEM TO BE A VERB.
I humbly submit that I stand in the shadows of their respective creativity, ability to reinvent, and of being evolutionary problem solvers. Nevertheless, I have drawn inspiration from them. That inspiration is at the core of creativity and problem solving is how I approach working with clients, colleagues, and life in general.
